It’s a great day to be a Newberry Panther! 🐾
Here are the announcements for Thursday, November 17th:
Panthers, please remember that with the cooler temperatures this week, blankets are not allowed at school. Also, you must still follow all dress code policies, including not wearing pajamas, slippers, or any type of head coverings as only appropriate clothing is permitted to be worn on campus.
Students who took the ASVAB can pick up their score sheets in the NHS Guidance Office.
The Student Body SGA will have a meeting tomorrow morning before school at 8:00 am in Mr. Marlowe’s classroom.
The DnD club is doing a Krispy Kreme fundraiser through Tuesday (November 29th). If you are interested in ordering some delicious doughnuts, please see Ms. Philips or a DnD club member.
Additionally, the final vote for Senior Superlatives will be on Tuesday (November 29th) after we return from the Thanksgiving Break.
If you have some photos showing campus life at NHS that you would like to see in this year’s yearbook, please stop by and see Ms. Gennaro.
Seniors, we need your baby pictures for the yearbook. All baby pictures must be submitted via the form on the yearbook webpage (link is available on the NHS website) no later than Thursday (December 1st). The instructions are available in the NHS Media Center or see Ms. Gennaro for more information.
Seniors, your quotes for the yearbook are now needed. All senior quotes must be submitted via the form on the yearbook webpage (link is available on the NHS website) no later than Thursday (December 1st). There is no cost to publish a quote beneath your senior picture in the yearbook; HOWEVER, please remember that quotes are a privilege and you MUST follow the guidelines for your quote to be published. All quotes are subject to review and approval by NHS administration.
Seniors, ads for the 2022-23 yearbook are now on sale. The deadline to purchase is Thursday (December 15th). Information can be found on the NHS website or you can see Ms. Gennaro for more information.

Today’s Reminder:
Dress Code: Make sure your school attire is appropriate and not distracting. You may not wear baggy/saggy pants and bottoms will not be shorter than “mid thigh”. Tops must cover the midriff, back, and sides of the body at all times. You may not wear bedroom slippers or shoes with wheels. Head coverings of any kind are not permitted to be worn inside. Failure to follow the dress code guidelines may result in lunch detention.
Students, please remember to check your school email accounts every day for important announcements and reminders. Remember, if you are having trouble or have questions about anything at all, turn to an adult. And please, if you see something, say something ( “Always remember, Shepp loves the kids!”
