November 30, 2022 Announcements
It’s a great day to be a Newberry Panther!

Here are the announcements for Wednesday, November 30th:
Progress Reports are now available in Skyward. If you experience any issues with viewing the report card, please contact Mrs. Honeycutt in the NHS Guidance Office for assistance.
Panthers, please remember that as the weather begins to turn cooler outside, blankets are not allowed at school. Also, you must still follow all dress code policies, including not wearing pajamas, slippers, or any type of head coverings as only appropriate clothing is permitted to be worn on campus.
Any girl interested in playing softball this spring, make plans to meet on the softball field on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3:00 pm until 4:00 pm for hitting and fielding conditioning. Please see Coach Roundtree if you have any questions.
There will be Math Tutoring tomorrow after school beginning at 3:00 pm in Ms. Ragan’s classroom for all math EXCEPT Geometry.
Seniors, we need your baby pictures for the yearbook. All baby pictures must be submitted BY TOMORROW via the form on the yearbook webpage (link is available on the NHS website). The instructions are available in the NHS Media Center or see Ms. Gennaro for more information.
Seniors, your quotes for the yearbook are now needed. All senior quotes must be submitted BY TOMORROW via the form on the yearbook webpage (link is available on the NHS website). There is no cost to publish a senior quote and all quotes are subject to review and approval by NHS administration.
Seniors, ads for the 2022-23 yearbook are now on sale. The deadline to purchase is Thursday (December 15th). Information can be found on the NHS website or you can see Ms. Gennaro for more information.
We want all our Panthers to remember the Panther way to Success:
*Be Reliable - Maintain consistency with what you say and do
*Be Respectful - Show consideration of someone or something
*Be Responsible - Be dependable, keep promises, and honor commitments
Today’s Reminder:
Food and Drinks: There should be no food or drinks in the buildings which are from outside campus. NHS is a closed campus and students are not permitted to leave campus for lunch. Additionally, you may not have food dropped off or delivered to you. Students are not allowed to bring Polar Cups or “to go” cups to campus. Water bottles are encouraged and we have several bottle filling stations around campus.
Students, please remember to check your school email accounts every day for important announcements and reminders. Remember, if you are having trouble or have questions about anything at all, turn to an adult. And please, if you see something, say something (www.getfortifyfl.com). “Always remember, Shepp loves the kids!”
