December 1, 2022 Announcements

It’s a great day to be a Newberry Panther! 🐾
Here are the announcements for Thursday, December 1st:
The deadline for senior baby photos for the yearbook has been extended until next Thursday (December 8th). They can be submitted on the yearbook website.
Seniors your deadline to vote for senior superlatives is also next Thursday (December 8th). Your vote can be done on the Yearbook website as well.
Panthers, please remember that as the weather begins to turn cooler outside, blankets are not allowed at school. Also, you must still follow all dress code policies, including not wearing pajamas, slippers, or any type of head coverings as only appropriate clothing is permitted to be worn on campus.
Any girl interested in playing softball this spring, make plans to meet on the softball field on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3:00 pm until 4:00 pm for hitting and fielding conditioning. Please see Coach Roundtree if you have any questions.
Seniors, ads for the 2022-23 yearbook are now on sale. The deadline to purchase is Thursday (December 15th). Information can be found on the NHS website or you can see Ms. Gennaro for more information.
We want all our Panthers to remember the Panther way to Success:
*Be Reliable - Maintain consistency with what you say and do
*Be Respectful - Show consideration of someone or something
*Be Responsible - Be dependable, keep promises, and honor commitments
Today’s Reminder:
Dress Code: Make sure your school attire is appropriate and not distracting. You may not wear baggy/saggy pants and bottoms will not be shorter than “mid thigh”. Tops must cover the midriff, back, and sides of the body at all times. You may not wear bedroom slippers or shoes with wheels. Head coverings of any kind are not permitted to be worn inside. Failure to follow the dress code guidelines may result in lunch detention.
Students, please remember to check your school email accounts every day for important announcements and reminders. Remember, if you are having trouble or have questions about anything at all, turn to an adult. And please, if you see something, say something (www.getfortifyfl.com). “Always remember, Shepp loves the kids!”
