It’s a great day to be a Newberry Panther! 

Here are the announcements for Tuesday, January 31st:
Panthers, please remember that as the weather begins to turn cooler outside, blankets are not allowed at school. Also, you must still follow all dress code policies, including not wearing pajamas, slippers, or any type of head coverings as only appropriate clothing is permitted to be worn on campus.
The Junior SGA will meet tomorrow morning before school at 8:00 am in the NHS Media Center.
The Senior SGA will meet tomorrow morning before school at 8:00 am in Mr. Marlowe’s classroom.
Representatives from the US Marine Corps will be on the NHS campus tomorrow during Lunch A and Lunch B to provide information about military service after graduation. Make sure to stop by if you’d like to receive information.
The Robotics Club will meet tomorrow after school at 3:00 pm in Mr. Truesdell’s classroom.
The National Honor Society will have a meeting on Thursday (February 2nd) morning before school at 8:00 am in Ms. Schentrup’s classroom.
If you completed two years of Spanish and were invited to be a member of the Spanish Honor Society, please see Mr. Avendaño by Thursday.
Representatives from the US Air Force will be on the NHS campus on Thursday (February 2nd) during Lunch A and Lunch B to provide information about military service after graduation. Make sure to stop by if you’d like to receive information.
The Student Body SGA will have a meeting on Friday (February 3rd) morning before school at 8:00 am in Mr. Marlowe’s classroom.
Representatives from Santa Fe College will be on the NHS campus on Friday (February 3rd) during Lunch A and Lunch B to provide information about dual enrollment opportunities for next year. Make sure to stop by if you’d like to receive information.
We still have ECF Chromebook laptops available for distribution to any NHS student. These laptops are equipped with 4G LTE, which will allow school-based internet access for homework and school projects. If you are interested in obtaining a laptop for your child, please contact Ms. Steele (steelesd@gm.sbac.edu) in the NHS Media Center as soon as possible.
