Panthers, please remember that there is no school on Monday (October 16th) due to a Teacher Workday. Make sure to complete all coursework and turn in any missing assignments as teachers prepare to finalize grades in preparation of the 1st nine week report cards!

Competition cheer tryouts will be held on Monday (October 16th) from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at the OVMS Gym.

The Robotics Club will meet before school on Tuesday (October 17th) at 8:00 am in Ms. Troy’s classroom.

Representatives from the US Marine Corps are scheduled to be on the NHS campus on Tuesday (October 17th) during Lunch A and Lunch B to provide information about military service after graduation. Make sure to stop by if you’d like to receive information.

After school CROP sessions will continue next week on Tuesday (October 17th) through Friday (October 20th) in Ms. Burkett’s classroom from 3:00 pm until 6:00 pm. If you have any questions, please contact the NHS Guidance Office.

Lady Panthers, the girls’ soccer tryouts will be on Monday (October 16th) and Tuesday (October 17th) from 3:15 pm until 5:00 pm at the Easton Sports Complex. You must have an updated physical form on file to participate. Please see Coach Roundtree if you have any questions.

The much anticipated Annual PowderBuff tournament will be on Thursday (November 9th) in the NHS Gym. If you are interested in playing, please speak with Anna Grace Bennett, Sarah Priester, or Nicole Marden.

Class shirts for the 11th grade PowderBuff tournament are on sale now so see Mr. Marlowe to order yours. Please note all players must have a class shirt for their grade to participate.

Phones and Headphones: These must be off and out of sight during class, unless your teacher gives specific permission for use. Cell phones, earbuds, airpods, headphones, and other electronic devices are only permitted to be in use before and after school, and during lunch periods. Students who have any types of these devices out when not permitted may receive disciplinary action.
