Here are the announcements for Thursday, January 18th:
Distribution of laptops to NHS students is nearly complete. Thank you to everyone who has successfully submitted the Computer Agreement Acknowledgement. If you have not already done so, please complete the form and return it to NHS as soon as possible. Students without a signed Computer Agreement Acknowledgement on file at NHS will be required to check out the laptop each morning and check it back in before leaving campus every day, which may result in the loss of valuable instructional time in classes.Please visit the NHS website ( for more information or contact Mr. Sheppard if you have any questions.
There will be a Girls Lacrosse Parent/Player information meeting today at 6:00 pm in Mr. Birrenkott's classroom. See Mr. Birrenkott if you have any questions.
The FCA will have a meeting tomorrow before school at 8:10 am in the NHS Gym. If you’d like to become involved, make sure to stop by!
Baseball tryouts will be held on Monday (January 22nd) right after school. If you have any questions, see Coach Roundtree.
Seniors don’t forget to order your caps and gowns for graduation. Prices are expected to increase soon so don’t wait! Order forms are available in the NHS Front Office or online at

Today’s Reminder:
Phones and Headphones: These must be off and out of sight during class, unless your teacher gives specific permission for use. Cell phones, earbuds, airpods, headphones, and other electronic devices are only permitted to be in use before and after school, and during lunch periods. Students who have any types of these devices out when not permitted may receive disciplinary action.
Students, please remember to check your school email accounts every day for important announcements and reminders. Remember, if you are having trouble or have questions about anything at all, turn to an adult. And please, if you see something, say something ( “Always remember, Shepp loves the kids!”
