It’s a great day to be a Newberry Panther! 🐾
Here are the announcements for Tuesday, August 13th:
There will be a brief meeting for any students interested in participating in cross country this year right after school today in Mr. Birrenkott’s classroom.
There will be a meeting before school in the Dean’s office on Wednesday (August 14th) at 8:15 am for any boy interested in playing golf this year. Please see Mr. Burford if you have any questions.
There will be an interest meeting immediately after school on Friday (August 16th) in Mrs. Wilson’s classroom regarding the Debate Club. If you are interested in joining the Debate Club, or would like more information about it, please make sure to stop by.
Preseason workouts will begin after school on Tuesday (August 20th) for any girls interested in becoming a Lady Panther basketball player. Please remember you must have a current physical on file in order to participate. Please see Coach Roundtree if you have any questions.

TODAY’S REMINDER:
Dress Code: Make sure your school attire is appropriate and not distracting. You may not wear baggy/saggy pants and bottoms will not be shorter than “mid thigh”. Tops must cover the midriff, back, and sides of the body at all times. You may not wear bedroom slippers or shoes with wheels. Head coverings of any kind are not permitted to be worn inside. Failure to follow the dress code guidelines may result in lunch detention.
Students, please remember to check your school email accounts every day for important announcements and reminders. Remember, if you are having trouble or have questions about anything at all, turn to an adult.
