The SGA will hold nominations for this year’s Homecoming Court tomorrow before and after school, and during Lunch A and Lunch B. Final elections for the Homecoming Court will take place on Friday (September 6th).

There will be no school on Monday (September 2nd) as we celebrate Labor Day. Be safe and enjoy your three-day weekend, Panthers!

Student Parking Decals will go on sale beginning Tuesday (September 3rd) before school in the NHS CJ Building. The cost for the annual parking pass is $30.00, which can be paid by cash or check (payable to Newberry High School). Please bring a copy of your driver’s license and vehicle registration with you to get your parking pass. ALL STUDENTS parking on NHS school property MUST have a parking decal. Parking tickets will be issued beginning on Monday (September 9th). Parking is ONLY permitted in designated areas (junior and senior parking lots) and NO parking is allowed in any other areas on campus, including along the gym or the football field. Dress Code: Make sure your school attire is appropriate and not distracting. You may not wear baggy/saggy pants and bottoms will not be shorter than “mid thigh”. Tops must cover the midriff, back, and sides of the body at all times. You may not wear bedroom slippers or shoes with wheels. Head coverings of any kind are not permitted to be worn inside. Failure to follow the dress code guidelines may result in lunch detention.
