November 1, 2024 Announcements
It’s a great day to be a Newberry Panther!
Here are the announcements for Friday, November 1st:
Don’t forget that the ASVAB will be given on the NHS campus during the school day on Wednesday (November 6th) to any interested 10th through 12th grade student. This test is an informative aptitude test and is used to determine qualification for enlistment in the military. This test is only given once a year so don’t miss your chance to take it!
Panthers, don’t forget to bring in your food drive items to help fill the boxes in your 1st period class. Each time your class fills a box, your teacher will get a leaf added to the leaderboard in the hallway by the NHS Front Office. The 1st period class that collects the most boxes will win a yummy, gourmet breakfast!
After school CROP sessions for students who are credit deficient for graduation will continue next week (Monday through Thursday) in Ms. Burkett’s classroom from 3:00 pm until 6:15 pm. There are many remaining dates and it’s not too late to participate! If you have any questions, please contact the NHS Guidance Office ASAP.
