REMINDER: ALL STUDENTS parking on NHS school property MUST have a parking decal and parking is ONLY permitted in designated areas (junior and senior parking lots). NO parking is allowed in any other areas on campus, including along the gym or the football field. If you park in any unauthorized area on the NHS campus, your vehicle is subject to being towed from the property.

After school CROP sessions for students who are credit deficient for graduation will continue today in Ms. Burkett’s classroom from 3:00 pm until 5:30 pm. If you have any questions, please contact the NHS Guidance Office ASAP.

Seniors, we still need your baby pictures for the yearbook. THIS PICTURE REQUEST IS SEPARATE FROM THE KINDERGARTEN PHOTOS YOU SENT IN FOR THE SENIOR VIDEO. You can either bring your baby pictures to Mrs. Honeycutt (they will be scanned and returned immediately) or email your picture directly to the yearbook staff at nhsyearbook@gm.sbac.edu by TOMORROW. If you have any questions, please see Mrs. Honeycutt ASAP.

Any students who are interested in performing during the upcoming Miss NHS Pageant (such as singing, dancing, or playing an instrument), must speak with Mrs. Kathi Thomas in the NHS Media Center ASAP.

The FCA will have a meeting tomorrow before school at 8:10 am in the NHS Gym. If you’d like to become involved, make sure to stop by!

It is time for the annual Powderpuff Football game! During 5th and 6th periods tomorrow, you can watch the classes battle for the Championship! Will the Juniors hold their title? Will the Seniors regain their pride? SGA will be selling the armbands before school and during both lunches for only $2.00, so don't miss out on all the action!

There will be Open Gym sessions every Monday and Thursday beginning Monday (March 24th) from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm. Parent meetings will be held on March 27th, April 3rd, and April 10th at 6:30 pm in the NHS Gym. Cheer tryouts for next year’s squad will be April 14th through April 18th in the NHS Gym. Come out and show off your spirit!

Dress Code: Make sure your school attire is appropriate and not distracting. You may not wear baggy/saggy pants and bottoms will not be shorter than “mid thigh”. Tops must cover the midriff, back, and sides of the body at all times. You may not wear bedroom slippers or shoes with wheels. Head coverings of any kind are not permitted to be worn inside. Failure to follow the dress code guidelines may result in lunch detention.
