Program hours are from school dismissal (3:37pm) until 6:00pm.

Late fees will be charged beginning at 6:01pm at a rate of $15.00 per child for every 15 minutes you are late. Three late pick ups will result in dismissal from the program.

If you think you might arrive late, please call us.

EDEP Weekly Fees

  • Full Rate: $60.00

    Scholarship Rate III: $40.00

    Scholarship Rate II: $25.00

Scholarships are available based on household income. The parent must complete a scholarship application and submit income verification (tax documentation) to determine the proper fees to be charged. Until the scholarship form is processed, everyone will pay the full rate.

Payments may be made by credit card or bank account using the Kinderlime parent app.  Payments may also be made by check or cash at the EDEP office.

If you would like to drop a check off at the front office in the morning, please notify me by email so that I can pick it up when I arrive on campus.

Payments are always due on Monday of the current week.

EDEP Registration

  •

Welcome to Kanapaha! Please call or e-mail me if you would like to register one-on-one. I will be wearing a mask and will be located in my office in the cafeteria. You can reach me at (352) 240-2605 to schedule an appointment.

To register, we need you to fill out a registration card (front and back) and drop it off with me. You can obtain a registration card from our front office or your nearest elementary school. We all use the same registration card.

Please include a check or money order in the amount of $25 (made out to EDEP) for the registration fee. If you have a credit that is being transferred from your elementary school, I have most likely already received an e-mail from your elementary school coordinator.

Feel free to contact me if you have any questions or concerns. Thank you and welcome to Kanapaha Middle School!

Important Information

  • Homework Policy

EDEP has homework time every day.  We encourage students to do their homework every week.  Homework time is optional and alternate activities will be available for those students that do not choose to take part in homework time.  We try to provide one on one assistance to individual students ourselves or through the Kanapaha teachers that volunteer with us every week, but due to the number of students in EDEP we may not be able to get to them right away. Please let us know if you have any specific concerns about your child's academic progress. We often set aside specific times to assist students.

Students are expected to bring their own supplies for homework. We do have some pencils, markers, glue, lined paper and other general supplies if needed.
