It’s a great day to be a Newberry Panther! 🐾
Here are the announcements for Wednesday, April 3rd:
After school CROP sessions will continue this week through Thursday (April 4th) in Ms. Burkett’s classroom from 3:00 pm until 5:30 pm. If you have any questions, please contact the NHS Guidance Office ASAP.
The Robotics Club will meet before school tomorrow at 8:00 am in Ms. Troy’s classroom.
The deadline to order your 2023-24 yearbook is Friday (April 12th). The cost is $65.00. You can order online or see Mrs. Honeycutt in the NHS Guidance Office to purchase yours.
The FCA will have a meeting this Friday (April 5th) before school at 8:10 am in the NHS Gym. If you’d like to become involved, make sure to stop by!
Report Cards for the first semester will be available for viewing in Skyward on Thursday (April 4th). If you have any issues in viewing the report card or are unable to access Skyward, please contact Mrs. Honeycutt in the NHS Guidance Office for assistance.
Seniors, are you unsure what your next step is after graduation? There will be a job fair in Gainesville on Thursday (April 25th) from 8:30 am until 12:30 pm. Transportation will be provided from NHS. See Mrs. Cheggeh in the NHS Guidance Office for more information.
Panthers, do you want to get involved? Do you want to help plan and host school activities? Do you want to be in the room where it happens? If so, then, you should think about running for an Office in Student Government. The election forms are in Mr. Marlowe's classroom, and the elections will be held on Friday (April 19th).
We want all our Panthers to remember the Panther way to Success:
*Be Reliable - Maintain consistency with what you say and do
*Be Respectful - Show consideration of someone or something
*Be Responsible - Be dependable, keep promises, and honor commitments
Today’s Reminder:
Phones and Headphones: These must be off and out of sight during class, unless your teacher gives specific permission for use. Cell phones, earbuds, airpods, headphones, and other electronic devices are only permitted to be in use before and after school, and during lunch periods. Students who have any types of these devices out when not permitted may receive disciplinary action.
Students, please remember to check your school email accounts every day for important announcements and reminders. Remember, if you are having trouble or have questions about anything at all, turn to an adult. And please, if you see something, say something (www.getfortifyfl.com). “Always remember, Shepp loves the kids!”
