Winter Break Tip (#3)

❄️ NHS Winter Break Tip #3 ❄️
While we hope our Panthers enjoy the break from classes and spend time with family and friends, we hope they find time to help others and give from the heart!
🐾 Add to your volunteer portfolio 🐾 Helping others is a worthy goal and it doesn’t hurt when helping others helps the volunteer too. The holidays are a wonderful opportunity to show involvement and help our community, so show admissions officers what you are passionate about through your volunteer choices. Many scholarships and college admissions contain minimum requirements for volunteer service hours to successfully apply. Don’t forget to turn in your completed volunteer service records to Mrs. Honeycutt in the NHS Guidance Office so the hours can be added to your official transcript. Copies of the Community Service Volunteer Service Record form can be found on the NHS Student Information Center (https://www.sbac.edu/Page/31062) and in the NHS Guidance Office.
As always, make sure to visit the NHS Student Information Center (https://www.sbac.edu/domain/5439) or speak with your NHS Guidance Counselor for more information. Online appointment scheduling is available for both Mrs. Cheggeh (for students with last name ending with A-L) and Mrs. Ross (for students with last name ending with M-Z).
