    Terwilliger Elementary School Teachers are commited to the success of every student. We take pride in tailoring our program to meet the needs of all learners. English/Language Arts, Math and Science are taught by highly-qualfied teachers at all grade levels. Teachers work closely together to develop the best lessons to engage students. In addition to the district adopted curriculum, we offer project-based learning oppurtunities. Additionaly, students who need more support to master standards are included in our research-based intervention program.

    Art. Music, P.E., technology and media are an integral part of our school curriculum. We believe that all students need as many opputtunities to explore thir creative and athletic sides so all children will participate in these activities weekly.

    Assessments
    The Florida Standard Assessment Test is given to all third, fourth, and fifth grade students in Florida. Third grade students are tested in reading and math; fourth grade in reading, math, and writing; and fifth grade in reading, math, and science. The science is FCAT 2.0. These assessments provide teachers with the data to plan for students individual instructional needs.
