• Welcome

Having a laptop is an essential part of your learning experience. It helps you complete assignments, research information, and participate in digital class activities. Your laptop provides access to digital resources that can make learning more interactive and engaging.

However, with this privilege comes responsibility. Your new laptop is checked out to you and if you are in 6th or 7th grade, your laptop will follow you to your next grade. Taking care of and maintaining your laptop is in your best interest.

Please review the Laptop Best Practices below and review and submit the Lincoln Middle School Student Contract: Computer Use Policy. Digitally signing this contract indicates that you are aware of school expectations and district policy for a laptop checked out to you.

Video (Common Sense Education) - Teen Voices: Oversharing and Your Digital Footprint

"Lots of middle schoolers post and share information about themselves – and others – on social media. But in a world where “oversharing” might seem normal, it’s important to think about our digital footprints -- the things we leave behind online. In this video, you'll hear what teens have to say about sharing on social media, and you can think critically about the decisions you're making any time you post something online. "
