    Director: Brooke Bailey

Welcome to Santa Fe High School Academy of AgriScience. Agriculture is a multibillion-dollar industry that is becoming increasingly more technical and business oriented.

Agriculture is a multibillion dollar industry that is becoming increasingly more technical and business oriented.

    • Agriculture is "BIG BUSINESS" with the need for bright qualified people.
    • Agriculture is the 2nd largest industry in Florida.
    • Well paying jobs are waiting for you no matter which area of agriculture you choose.
    • Job Opportunities: there are more jobs opportunities a year than there are graduates to fill the needs.
    • Agriculture education can begin at Santa Fe High School and continue at a vocational center, a community college, or university.

Students entering the program in the ninth grade wishing to enroll in any program other than Veterinary Assisting must enroll in the AgriScience Foundations course their first year. Persons wishing to enroll in the Veterinary Assisting program will NOT take the Agriscience Foundations course. They will begin with Veterinary Assisting I; this is a four-year program.
