In order to keep children safe, and keep drop-off and pick-up as efficient as possible, our School has adopted these protocols. We ask that all caregivers review and follow the protocols in order to contribute to our safe school culture and demonstrate consideration and respect for all. At the end of the day, the children are watching. Please remember you are modeling for them the necessity of following school rules and showing respect for all.

Morning Care is provided beginning at 7:30 a.m. in the cafeteria. All students arriving prior to 8:15 must report to Morning Care.  This is a free service.

All students must be off campus by 4:00p.m. unless attending a KMS sanctioned after school activity or Extended Day Enrichment Program (EDEP).

The speed limit at all times is 10mph.

Car pick-up and drop off is in the front of the school. Drop off and pick-up should occur only from the northern lot on NW 75th Street in the valet line. Dropping off and picking up in the southern bus drop off lot is strictly prohibited as it is a major safety concern.

Drivers must remain in their vehicles while parked in the valet line during prime pick-up and drop-off times. The valet line (denoted by the yellow curb along the front of the school) is to be used for drop-off and pick-up from:

7:30-8:15 am
2:00 pm - 4:00 pm

While in the valet line, please pull all the way to the front until traffic is stopped.  Please do not block handicap spaces or crosswalks.

Picking Up Children From School Early: Children are not released directly from the classroom to leave school before dismissal times. You MUST come to the office first, present an ID, and sign out your child. Your child will be sent for and released to you.
