Book Club    Adviser: Mrs. Bailey  The Mebane Battle Book Club is made up of a group of students who like to read and share ideas about books. Students read Battle of the Books Titles (minimum 2, prefer 3-4)  that are chosen by the county. We then meet during lunch and after school and compete in mock competitions while noshing on some scrumptious snacks. Students and sponsors sign up to bring in the treats. There are no membership dues, and membership is open to grades 6-8. At the end of the school year, students will compete in the district championship.  We do have a t-shirt that you may purchase for $15.  If you are in the competition, our club T-shirt is needed.
