Welcome to Alachua Elementary's Media Center.  Our students visit the Media Center with their homeroom classes. Third and fourth graders visit the library every six schooldays.  Fifth graders visit the library every 4 days.

Circulation Policies

Checkouts: Students can check out one book during their class' regularly scheduled Media Center time.

Returns: Books are due one week after initial checkout and/or during the students' scheduled visit.

Overdue Item:  For overdue books, students will not be permitted to check out an additional book until the overdue material is returned.

Lost or Damaged Books:  Lost or damaged books will result in a charge equal to the book's original or replacement value in order to purchase a new copy of the book.
