Welcome to Alachua Elementary's Media Center.  Our students visit the Media Center with their homeroom classes. Third graders visit the library every 4 school days.  Fourth and fifth graders visit the library every 5 days.

Circulation Policies

Checkouts: Students can check out one book during their class' regularly scheduled Media Center time.

Returns: Books are due the next time the student's class is scheduled to visit.

Overdue Item:  For overdue books, students will not be permitted to check out an additional book until the overdue material is returned.

Lost or Damaged Books:  Lost or damaged books will result in a charge equal to the book's original or replacement value in order to purchase a new copy of the book.
