What Is PTO?
PTO is a great way for parents to get involved in their child's school. Anyone can become a member! Membership fees are only $5 for individuals or families can take advantage of our $10 Family Membership with also gives parents the opportunity to put their child's birthday on the marquee for only $5 per child. PTO has helped pay for the security doors at the main office, the marquee at the front of the school, grade level field trips, transportation for field trips, classroom needs, teacher functions, Accelerated Reader program, as well as support for out Art, Media, and Music programs.
We communicate with our members via email and Facebook. It's the easiest way to become involved and stay up-to-date on the latest PTO events and fundraisers. We will also send home PTO newsletters so you can prepare for our next meeting. PTO has general meetings about every 6 weeks. We will email members in advance of any upcoming meets or schedule changes. These meetings are important to attend so parents can give input on the items PTO is working on such as T-Shirts, Walk-a-Thon, and Book Fair. We value our member's suggestions and we encourage you to bring any questions or concerns to our meetings, too!
~~Our Mission-- To support and speak on the behalf of our children in our school, in our community, and before governmental bodies and other organizations that make decisions affecting our children, and to encourage parental and public involvement in our school, assisting parents or guardians in developing skills as needed to safely raise and protect our children.
Become a VOLUNTEER!
Parents, fill out a Volunteer Application in order to volunteer during PTO events. Every volunteer must have a volunteer application completed at the beginning of every school year in order to participate in PTO sponsored events.
