Florida P.E.R.T.

  • PERT, the Postsecondary Education Readiness Test (PERT) is a computer adaptive test which measures a student's level of preparedness for college-level courses. The test is currently being used by all Florida high schools and the 28 members of the Florida College System. 

    The PERT exam is used in Florida High Schools as the comparative score to the Algebra 1 EOC. Meaning that students who have not yet met the passing score on their Algebra EOC exam can meet the graduation requirement by scoring a 97 on the PERT Exam.  The PERT exam is offered every Tuesday after school in the Media Center to members of the class of 2021.

    Required by some colleges for admission or placement in classes.
    This test is for students wishing to dual enroll in 11th grade.
    Free for Santa Fe College (SFC) applicants
    This test is offered at SFC on a walk-in basis: 
       -Monday-Thursday 8am-4:30pm  
       -Friday 8am-2pm.

  • Buchholz will be offering the PERT Math exam after school every Tuesday to students needing a comparative score for the Algebra 1 EOC.
