Preliminary Scholastic Aptitude Test

Given in the Fall each year:

The PSAT is a practice test for the SAT college admission test.

Alachua County tests all students in the fall of their 10th grade year.

The PSAT can also be the concordant score for the Algebra 1 EOC. 

In addition:

The PSAT also qualifies Juniors for the National Merit Scholarship.

We strongly recommend that all academically talented students take the PSAT as a Junior.
