AFT 3 students start their internships midyear at a middle school unless they are dual-enrolled, then they get a choice of interning at an elementary or middle school. Juniors intern Tuesday-Friday during the sixth period and are expected to intern for 75 hours.  AFT 4 students intern five days a week during the first period at an elementary school for 150 hours.
