All professional academies will provide articulated linkages to post-secondary education with clearly defined pathways. Students will have the opportunity to earn advanced credit through their career courses at post-secondary institutions.
Career and Technical programs at the Professional Academies Magnet will have the highest available level of industry certification. Where no national or state certification exists, the advisory committees will establish a local certification in conjunction with the local Workforce Development Board, the Chamber of Commerce, or the Agency for Workforce Innovation.
Each student at the Professional Academies Magnet has selected a career cluster area and will be provided with an academic schedule to provide the best foundation skills required for success in the workforce and in post-secondary education.
