Students participate in the following testing:
- 9th Grade English Language Arts (ELA)
- 10th Grade English Language Arts* (ELA)
- Algebra 1** End of Course Exam
- Geometry*** End of Course Exam
- US History*** End of Course Exam
- Biology*** End of Course Exam
- 12th Grade Florida Civic Literary Exam (FCLE)
*Students must pass the 10th Grade FSA ELA / B.E.S.T. ELA Exam (or receive a concordant score) to satisfy graduation requirements.
**Students must pass the Algebra 1 End of Course Exam (or receive a concordant score) to satisfy graduation requirements.
***EOC Exam scores will count as 30% of the student's overall grade in each course.
Beginning in the 2022-2023 school year, and pursuant to E.O. 19-32 signed by Governor Ron DeSantis, Florida students will have three short check-ins instead of multi-day, end-of-year, high-stakes tests for English Language Arts and Mathematics. Progress monitoring will benefit students, teachers and parents by allowing for informed instruction in a timely manner, helping instruction to be tailored to each student’s individual needs. The Florida Civic Literacy Exam (FCLE) is a computer-based assessment that measures students’ civic literacy knowledge. In 2021, legislation was passed that requires all students enrolled in a U.S. Government course in high school to take the assessment (see s. 1003.4282(3)(d), F.S.).
