·Registration will only be taken by the on-site coordinator in the cafeteria at the school your child will be attending.

·Registration will be taken between the hours of 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM and 2:30 PM – 5:30 PM.

· A lottery will be held May 9 & 10th. Families will be notified using the email address the parent provided on the EDEP registration card.  

·A $25 non-refundable registration fee and completed registration form will be required no later than 5:30 pm on Thursday, May 16th to hold a slot for your child once chosen in the lottery. The second lottery will be held on Friday, May 17th for unpaid spaces.

·Current EDEP participants will not be allowed to register unless their account is paid in full.

·When each program has reached capacity, a waiting list will be started. The current waiting list is voided once we start registration for the following school year. A new waiting list will be started as needed.

·Registration will remain open at those schools that do not reach capacity.

· La inscripción solo la realizará el coordinador en la cafetería de la escuela a la que asistirá su hijo.

· La inscripción se realizará entre el horario de 09:00 – 11:00 y 14:30 – 17:30.

· Se realizarán loterías los días 9 y 10 de mayo. Se notificará a las familias utilizando la dirección de correo electrónico que los padres proporcionaron en la tarjeta de registro de EDEP.

· Se requerirá una tarifa de inscripción no reembolsable de $25 y un formulario de inscripción completo a más tardar a las 5:30 pm del jueves 16 de mayo para reservar un lugar para su hijo una vez elegido en la lotería. El segundo sorteo se realizará el viernes 17 de mayo para espacios no remunerados.

· Los participantes actuales de EDEP no podrán registrarse a menos que su cuenta esté pagada en su totalidad.

· Cuando cada programa haya alcanzado aforo, se iniciará una lista de espera. La lista de espera actual se anula una vez que comenzamos la inscripción para el siguiente año escolar. Se iniciará una nueva lista de espera según sea necesario.

· La inscripción permanecerá abierta en aquellas escuelas que no alcancen su capacidad.

         EDEP ~ CAMP DISCOVERY

Get ready for FUN! Young Adventurers, join us for 6 fantastic weeks of summer adventure. Each site has their own exciting theme from building rockets to a theatrical production. Children are welcome to attend any program throughout the district.

Locations:    Alachua, Chiles, Foster, Glen Springs, Hidden Oak, High Springs, Idylwild, Littlewood, Meadowbrook, Newberry, Norton, Parker (Formerly Finley), Talbot, Terwilliger, Wiles 
** (A minimum of 50 students must be enrolled to operate the program.) **

Cost for Each Session of Camp:

Camp Fees may be paid in full at time of enrollment or distributed over 3 equal payments. 
First Payment Due Upon Acceptance. Next Payment due March 1st and the final payment April 5th.

Please check with the individual school for additional Field Trip expenses.

Registration:  Applications will be accepted February 5th-15th from 3:00pm- 5:30 pm. To make arrangements outside these hours please call 352-955-7766. Register at the school you would like your child to attend. Registration is NOT first come, first served. Registration through ProCare is NOT available.  A lottery for available spaces will be held Feb 16th and parents will be notified using the email address provided on the application no later than end of day Feb 20th. A non-refundable down payment of 1/3 of camp fees for each child/ per Session will be due no later than 5:30 pm on Friday Feb. 23rd for all families accepted into camp. On Monday February 26th any spot not secured with a deposit will be given to another family via lottery. All children must go on field trips if in attendance that day. Space is limited. All Payments are due in FULL for all sessions no later than April 5th. 

Refunds (minus the non-refundable deposit) may be requested in writing until April 5th. After April 5th, a refund of 50% (minus the non-refundable deposit) may be requested in writing if camp is notified at least 16 days prior to the beginning of camp session 1. No refunds will be given if notified less than 16 days prior to the beginning of camp session 1. (May 17th is the final day to request a 50% refund). Any spot not paid in full by April 5th will be forfeited and given to a family on the waiting list. If a spot is forfeited, May 17th is the last day to request a partial refund. NO Refunds after May 17th.

Lunch/Snacks:  Breakfast & lunch will be available for free at all locations through SBAC Food Service Department. (Please see site for available times) EDEP will provide an afternoon snack.
Many of our field trips & activities include food. Children with severe allergies, please consult with the camp you are interested in for more details.

Jóvenes aventureros, únanse a nosotros durante seis fantásticas semanas de un verano lleno de aventuras.  Habrá actividades muy divertidas, desde construir cohetes a una producción teatral.  Los niños están invitados a asistir a cualquier programa a través del distrito.

Inscripción:  Las aplicaciones serán aceptadas desde febrero 5 hasta febrero 15 de 3:00 PM a 5:30PM.  Para coordinar horas adicionales, favor comunicarse al 352-955-7766. Inscribirse en la escuela de su preferencia. La inscripción NO es por orden de llegada.  Las inscripciones a través de ProCare no están disponibles. Habrá una lotería para los espacios disponibles el 16 de febrero y los padres serán notificados usando el correo electrónico proveído en la aplicación a más tardar el 20 de febrero.  El depósito 1/3 no reembolsable por cada niño y sesión, debe de ser cubierto a más tardar el viernes 23 de febrero a las 5:30 PM para todas las familias que han sido aceptadas en el campamento. El lunes 26 de febrero, cualquier cupo no asegurado con un depósito, será otorgado a una familia vía lotería.  Todos los niños deben de asistir a los paseos en un día regular de asistencia.  Los espacios, son limitados. 
Todos los pagos deben de realizarse por completo a más tardar el 5 de abril

Reembolsos (excluyendo el depósito) deben de solicitarse por escrito hasta el 5 de abril.  Luego de esa fecha, los reembolsos serán del 50% (excluyendo el depósito) y deben de ser requeridos por escrito, al menos dieciséis días antes de comenzar la sesión 1 del campamento. No habrá reembolsos si se notifica con menos de dieciséis días de antelación al comienzo de la sesión 1. 17 de Mayo, es la fecha final para la solicitud de reembolso del 50%.  Cualquier espacio disponible que no haya sido pagado en su totalidad al 5 de abril, será cancelado y será otorgado a una familia que esté en lista de espera.  De cancelarse el espacio, el 17 de mayo es el último día para solicitar el reembolso parcial.  NO habrá reembolsos después de la fecha límite (17/5).

Almuerzo/Merienda:  Se proveerá el desayuno y almuerzo de manera gratuita a través de las locaciones del Departamento de Servicios y Alimentos del distrito escolar.

Muchos de nuestros paseos y actividades, incluyen alimentos.  Si su hijo(a) sufre de alergias severas, favor consultar con el campamento si está interesada(a) en más detalles.

Scholarships are available and based on household income. The parent must complete an application for Reduced EDEP Fees and income verification to determine the proper EDEP fees to be charged. Until this form is processed and approved, everyone will pay the full rate.  We can not change the rate for attendance prior to the date a reduced fees application was approved.

If your child is withdrawing from the program, a request for a refund must be submitted in writing to the On-Site Coordinator within 30 days.

Registration Fee
Enrolling in EDEP a nonrefundable annual registration fee of $25.00 per child, per school is due at registration. 

Hours of operation for elementary schools is dismissal time until 5:30 pm. Hours of operation for middle schools is dismissal time until 6:00 pm. A late fee of $15 per child, per every 15 minutes starting at closing time.
